Meredith is quite the talker these days - sometimes it seems like she never stops. If she can't think of anything to say to keep us in her bedroom at bedtime she always does the "But Mommy - But Daddy" trick and comes up with something else to say.
She is the queen of changing her mind right now. If you give her a choice between 2 things, she will choose one and then 5 seconds later say "No, I not want that one" and choose the other one instead. She is quite the manipulator and of course goes to tears if I make her stick with her first choice.
She was helping herself to some snacks in the pantry the other day and I told her that she needed to ask mommy first - She said " Ask Mommy?" and I said yes that's right. She then said "I asked myself" and then gave me her best smile!
We were eating out this last week and she wanted a spoon to eat some of her food, so her daddy told her she could ask the lady when she was back at our table. Well, the lady soon came by and Meredith bellowed "LADY, I NEED A SPOON!" We are still working on manners.
