While Brooklyn & mom were in the hospital, Malia & Meredith stayed with Grandpa & Grandma in Hutchinson. On Thursday, Aunt Susie brought them back home so they could meet their new baby sister and then she is staying to give me extra help these first few days at home. The kids all think Brooklyn is great and all want to help put her binky in whenever she is crying. Meredith takes a couple of sucks herself and then gives it to Brooklyn - Oh My! The last two nights, Brooklyn actually slept pretty well, so I can't complain so far. She is finally starting to open her eyes a little more now too - She was pretty sleepy & squinty eyed at the hospital.
Today is the annual city wide Gardner garage sale, so Phil took the oldest three out this morning to look for some treasures and they came home with a sack full. We all went to Owen's soccer game after that and stopped by a graduation Open House on the way home, so I think we are pretty much done for the day now!
