The girls & I have spent plenty of time in the van lately as Phil is back to coaching, so now I am picking Owen up from school again.
Meredith - How many miles till we get there?
Mom - about 25
Meredith - What is a mile?
Malia - Ok, Mommy, are you ready to play hangman? Guess a letter.
Mom - H
Meredith - Mommmy, what is a mile
Mom - a distance measurement
Malia - nope no H guess again
Meredith - How long till we get there?
Mom - half an hour
Meredith - no, how many minutes
Mom - 30
Malia - Mommy, guess another letter
Mom - r, s, t
Meredith - is that a long time?
Mom - well it all depends........
Malia - Mommy, you need to keep guessing some letters
Mom - ok how about a, e, i, o, & u
Meredith - I need a kleenex
Meredith - I need some lotion for my hands
Malia - Ok, you have 1 letter right now, keep guessing
Mom - p, l, n
Meredith - Hey, mommy did you just see the merry-go-around
Mom (glancing at school we just passed) uum yes.
Meredith - no not over there - you know the merry-go-around like when we go to gymnastics.
Mom - uummm????
Meredith - Mommy! Mommy! you know what I mean - the merry-go-around
Mom - oh you mean the round about that we drove thru
Meredith - Yeah, that is what I'm talkin about - a round-about
Malia - Mommy you are hanged!
Mom - I wonder if I still have any Advil in my purse?
Meredith - What did you say Mommy?
Mom - Oh, nothing I was just talking to myself
Meredith - Why?
Mom - because I think I might be losing my mind
Meredith - Oh my word!

How FUNNY! I'm laughing as I read and I can see why you don't really want to drive clear to San Antonio without Phil:)
That gave me a headache just reading it. I know how you felt. I think I would lose my mind if I had to drive that far every day. :0)
