Prairie Punisher Duatholon

Whew!! We all made it! Elisa's team even took 1st in the women's teams

Our little hometown journal paper did an article about my mom & me doing the duathalon together. Thankfully, the article was beforehand, so that way they didn't need a photo of us after we had actually finished the duathalon.

Today my mom & I completed the Prairie Punisher Duathalon as a team. I ran 3.2 miles, then she biked 18 miles, and then I finished with a 3.2 mile run. It was extremely humid & foggy and so we sweat buckets but we made it. June, Elisa & Damon also competed so it was a bit of a family affair. My mom did a great job and probably biked the course faster than I could.
