Wanting to get the most out of our season passes, my sisters and I took another little trip to Silver Dollar City at the end of October. We left the little ones at home as this trip was all about the RIDES!
Our first day was chilly, but we were prepared w/our warm gear and not having to wait in any lines was a bonus!
Our second day was picture perfect fall weather and still barely any lines for the rides. There were definitely more people at the park on Saturday but it must have been for all the crafts and foods. Not us, we were all about the RIDES!
3 of the cousins (Owen, Avery, & Evan) had all been just a hair too short earlier in the summer to ride the Wildfire. Amazingly, they had all grown enough to make it on this time! I think between the 2 days they all got remeasured by the workers practically every other time they tried to get on, but they were always allowed to ride.
Malia & Aunt Elisa on Thunderation
Owen & Trevin ready to blast off on the Powder Keg
Hmmmmmm.....
I had so much fun riding all the roller coasters and other rides! Owen always wanted to be in the front car, and I think he converted me - it was a definite adrenaline rush!
Grandma had just run 1/2 marathon the weekend before and had a stress fracture so she got to ride around in the wheelchair
Well, our 2nd day was definitely warmer, but not warm enough to risk the water rides for me. However, some were brave enough to try it, and yes they regretted it!!
Ok, I was all about the rides AND a funnel cake!
