Marrying Hair

It has been a change this year with only Brooklyn at home all day. She does lots of talking and some days still asks if we will go pick up Meredith first - she misses having a sibling to play with. Today's lunchtime conversation was interesting so I had to get it down here so I would remember.

Brooklyn: Mommy, why do peoples hair change when they are marrying?
Me: You mean when people are married - their hair is different?
Brooklyn: Yes
Me: Boys or Girls?
Brooklyn: Both
Me: I'm not sure what you mean
Brooklyn: Well at Grandma's house, I see the marrying pictures and everybody has different hair when they are marrying.
Me: Aha! now I know what she is talking about - We all look a bit different with our "MARRYING HAIR" whether it be more or less!

figured out how to swing on her own - loves it!

she always wants to play a game everyday and is REALLY into puzzles. She is doing puzzles all the time it seems. She told me she wants to be a "puzzle artist" which she explained "is someone who helps other people do puzzles because I am so good at it"

She is also brutally honest & perceptive. She came up and asked me, "Mommy, when you tell me you are almost done on the computer, are you just saying that so I will go and play some more? OUCH!
