Owen is about halfway through his baseball games for the summer. It is coach pitch and has been a learning experience for him. Every time at bat they get 5 pitches and if they don't get a hit, then they just go to first base. In the game before last, he kept letting the pitches go by and not swinging at them. So, for the next game, Phil gave him some monetary/icee incentive and guess what - 3 hits in 3 innings. He played catcher too - but with all the equipment, he had a hard time moving and finding the ball on the ground. He said he wasn't going to volunteer for that position again.

I can imagine why he would have a hard time moving with all that gear on, that is hilarious! Good job on the hits Owen!
