I am not sure who came up with this idea - but now you know what year it is

Owen and his soccer field cake. If you look real close, you can see the little action shots of Owen on the field.

Uncle Roger held up the pinata. It took quite a few whacks but finally that plastic bat came through. The kids were all waiting with their cups.

The kids always love all the dress up clothes they find in the playroom. It keeps them very occupied playing lots of pretend.

We had a big family bash at Roger's for New Year's Eve. My youngest brother John was tired of the fact that we didn't party anymore now that we all had little ones. Soooo, he planned the party and Roger & Dee Dee graciously hosted and let us all camp out for the night as well. The Wii was a big hit with the adults as well as kids. We had a boxing tournament - most of us ladies knocked our hubbies right into the LOSERS bracket! I am still quite sore today from playing. The gals headed to bed around 2 but I heard some of the guys were still playing tennis at 4 in the morning.

We also had a little 7th birthday celebration for Owen. We had a pinata for the kids and once that thing finally broke, it was a dog pile for the candy.

On New Year's Day Roger & John made a big breakfast for everyone and we hung out and watched football and played some more Wii. Thanks for all the fun everyone!
