Malia is the early bird in the family. She wonders why Mommy & Daddy are "lazy" on Saturday and want to stay in bed past 7am. She loves to play UNO and wins often, but if she doesn't, she wants to play for 2nd, 3rd, & 4th places too. I got my short pregnancy haircut the other day and she said "Mommy, you sure do look funny - you look like a different person". She has her magic wand out occasionally and changes the makeup of our family: Phil becomes Grandpa, I become Grandma, Owen is the Muffin Man & Meredith is Polly put the Kettle on. Malia of course is the Fairy in charge!! She has been asking to take more ballet dance classes again, so we may have to check on that. She also has been working hard at keeping her thumb out of her mouth so she can fill up a sticker chart and then we can go to Chucky Cheese's.
