Owen has brought home 2 readers now but this was his first one - Hot! Hot! Hot! He is enjoying school and his favorite things are Center Time, P.E., & snack time. He has always liked to save things and so I finally bought a storage container where he can put all of his treasures and school papers etc. However, the other day I threw out a feather which unknown to me, he had found on the beach during our Clinton Lake camping trip. Well usally I check w/him before throwing most things out but didn't this time. A couple of days later he came looking for the feather (he has a very good memory) and said he had left it on the desk. OOOOOPPS! I decided to fess up and tell him and boy did that bring a watershed of tears. Thankfully, Walmart had a pack of small feathers and that was good enough for now until next summer when he can go back to the beach & find another feather. We need an indoor track in our house now that it is cold as the favorite after supper activity is tag.
