Our second day in Colorado was a hike to the meadow - again near the cabin where we had taken vacations as kids. The kids were all pumped especially Malia because she had come to Colorado to GO HIKING! Our hike took us about 45 minutes and then we had to all find our family trees that we carve on every time we make it there. Phil & I had last been there in 1994 so we needed to add all the kids' initials to our tree. We had a short sing time, scripture quoting by kids, and Daddy told us how he met our mom & proposed. In the evening we went to Cuchara to souvenir shop and have pizza to celebrate Caleb & Brendon's birthday.
