Phil had a project to tackle today - digging out a couple of big bushes. Our sand plum bush has been looking bad for a while now, and since the evergreen bush in front started turning brown this summer, we decided it was time for a change. So, Phil did lots of digging and I'm sure his back will be sore tomorrow but he got them both out. Grandpa Tucker, he wanted you to know that it was one of your old shovels he used and it held up quite well!
