This is a re-created Kodak moment, but Meredith has a pretty predictable MO when she needs to get at something out of her reach. Whenever I see the stool with the box of wipes on top, it's a sure bet that Meredith has been a messin' with something.......
Due to nice weather, I sent the kids outside for some playtime and they lasted quite awhile before I heard yelling and fighting. So, I stuck my head out the back door and told them whoever I heard yelling next would have to come inside - there was no reason to yell unless someone was hurt badly or there was an emergency. Meredith promptly replied "Or if my leg is on fire Mommy?" Yes, my dear Meredith, that would qualify on both counts.
Phil & I were just chuckling about her tonight. We don't think any of our kids have had quite the ability to exasperate us the way she has but yet totally crack us up with so much stuff too. When we recount our stories to each other sometimes at night, we just lay in bed laughing. I would love to share more but way too much of it as of late involves the bathroom.
When Phil was reading her the story of Noah tonight, he asked her if she knew how long it rained - "Umm - sixty minutes?" was her reply. While we were at Malia's kindergarten round-up the other day - the Headmaster was speaking (he has a loud deep voice & grey hair w/a beard). She leaned over to me and said, "Is that God?"

Meredith is too funny. Her comments remind me of something Ella would have said.
