A Very Abbreviated January Recap

Another trip to build something at Home Depot. I am starting to store some of the projects in the garage now, but am letting them know that they can sell them at our garage sale and keep the money if they want.....Hint Hint! After they finish building, they have to say the magic Home Depot words "You can do it, we can help" and then they get some candy. I asked Meredith what the magic words were - she said "WE CAN DO IT, WE CAN WORK" no its "WE CAN DO IT, YOU CAN HELP".....well close enough.

Owen had pioneer day at school and dressed up like a cowboy for that. Of course, he couldn't take his play guns, but he still wore the holsters. They wrote on slates with chalk and had to stand up in front of the class when they were reading.

Hide and seek is one of the favorite winter indoor games and Malia is always good at finding yet another small spot to scrunch her little body into.

Meredith learned how to snap her fingers and is very proud of herself, especially since she can do it better than her older siblings.

Just working on a little piano duet

The first part of January is always a blur. After Christmas travels and all the unpacking of "stuff" that that involves, it is then on to New Years, Owen's b-day, our Anniversary etc. So, I was finally feeling like life was in order again and I needed to update the blog, but then our laptop crashed and our other computer got a nasty virus. So here are just a couple of tidbits from January that I can remember. Amazingly, we all stayed healthy for the month - maybe the flu shot was worth it??? we'll see. I have been working extra hours in the Urgent Care and we have been extremely busy....lots of sickness going around.
