Well, we finally took the first BIG vacation - well post kids that is. It sure was nice to get that economic stimulus check before we left. We have now done our patriotic duty and pumped quite a chunk of it back into the economy via restaurants, gas stations, Sea World, Six Flags, & Taco Cabana. We were able to take the trip with my parents and Greg & Susan's family & John & Melanie's family.

Since our trip was Monday to Monday - Phil had to get a one way ticket to fly down but that ended up quite nice b/c he was able to take Brooklyn for free and save her one full day of being strapped in a car seat. He said she did quite well and actually slept thru one of the take-offs. The other kids and I took off at 5:45a.m. and hooked up with John's on the highway and then the rest of the family south of Wichita.

We rented 2 homes which turned out to be ideal with having extra space & bedrooms for the kids. Each morning Grandpa & Grandma started us off with a big breakfast and devotions and then we were off to all of our destinations.
