Time for Change

Why did someone not warn me of the repercussions of putting up wallpaper?

Thankfully, the realtor didn't check out our bedroom. Our redneck TV stand would almost have certainly put her into cardiac arrest!

Phil & I have decided that we are going to put the house back on the market again soon and give it another go. So, our dear realtor came out and chatted with us and gave us a few little projects to spruce things up. Last time it was recovering the dining room chairs. This time it was getting rid of the kitchen wallpaper, changing some knobs out and painting or replacing the dining room chandelier. After pricing light fixtures, Phil painted it instead. With very little idea of what we were doing, we finally got the wallpaper down. During our quality time together on this project, we decided that we didn't see any reason to EVER wallpaper again. As for the knobs, well, we priced them too and we are just going to kind of act like we forgot about doing that project and see what happens.

So, now we just need to paint the front door (something we were going to do anyway) to match the new house paint and then DECLUTTER! Yeah, that is easter said than done with 4 children but we'll do our best and see what happens.
